Christmas Activities
On the first Sunday in December, the Family & School Association sponsored the fifth annual Christmas Arts & Crafts Fair. During this event, St. Helen opened its doors for community families to make crafts on-site, play games, sample gourmet food, and purchase hand-made gifts.
Later that week, intermediate-advanced piano students performed a variety of Christmas songs at the annual Holiday Piano Recital and parents of St. Helen’s second graders enjoyed breakfast menu items prepared and served by students at the annual Christmas Café.
The finale for the month of events was the annual Christmas Show, where each class presented musical and dance performances. To view photos of these events click on the highlighted event title!

Last Call for St. Helen Festival Volunteers !!
We Need You This Week!! Our festival’s success depends more than anything else on two things: attendance and volunteers!
We hope all of our school fammilies and parishioners will enjoy the entertainment and attractions featured Sept. 15-18, and we need as many people as possible to help with the following:
SET UP. We will be assembling tents, stringing lights, moving tables and chairs, and performing other necessary activities on Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 15, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Even if you can only give an hour or two, you are very much needed.
FOOD SERVICE. We need help cooking and serving hotdogs, hamburgers, polish sausage, and tacos—as well as serving beverages—every day of the Festival (Thursday, Sept. 15 through Sunday, Sept. 18).
TEAR DOWN. We will start cleaning up and putting away tents, tables, chairs, and the like at 10 p.m. on Sunday night as soon as the festival closes. We will work until the site is back to normal for Monday morning. Remember: Many hands make light work! This will be your last opportunity to help.
Thank you in advance for your support!
