Last Soccer News

Wednesday, May 17, there will be a friendly game with St. Mary of The Angels U10 teams, during regular practice at Smith Park, around 4 p.m. All U10 players are invited to attend. We will use scrimmage vests. Please wear your black soccer shorts.

Friday, May 19, and Saturday May 20, all our U10 and U8 teams play in the finals at St. Procopius School (17th Street and Alport): All St. Helen community members are invited to attend! Come cheer your teams! We will have a schedule by early next week. Please inquire with Mr. Ferme (773.726.4737), Mr. Flores (773.551.6633) or Mr. Conner (312.399.9859).

Sunday, May 21, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., will be our End-of-The-Year Soccer Awards Ceremony, in the School Lunchroom. Please all team members bring your uniforms back! There will be pizza and soda. All families are asked to contribute $5.

Thanks to all parents who participated in the last home game parent recognition. What you do for your children's physical development will no doubt benefit your children in the future. You can see a shot of the ceremony in the Photo Gallery, from the Our Community page.

Soccer season will be starting soon. Details are being worked out as to the schedule. Keep checking back.

Thanks to all the families who participated at the last day of basketball games at the St. Helen Gym! Thanks to Ms. Johnson and Ms. Mickie for coordinating the 8th graders’ flower ceremony, and to Ms. Sharma, Ms. Borsilli and Mr. Maher for coming to support their students!!! As another basketball season is coming to an end, we hope students will draw lessons and inspiration from their teamwork useful in their future endeavours.

Next, all teams will enter the playoff phase. Check back on the website for schedule updates.

Soccer training will be starting up again in March. Announcements will be forthcoming with schedules for each team.
